You know that one food that everyone had in college as their hungover downfall. That for me was waking up with my hand in a box of Puffins cereal. Oh, and almond joys. So two foods. I don’t know what it was – chocolate or coconut – that satisfied my state of pathetic decay, and yet I continued to seek their delight despite inevitably feeling even worse after consumption. But check out this recipe revamp. This. This. THIS! I didn’t feel terrible after eating this. Plus these bars contain only five ingredients, including one of my favorite new grain-free and Paleo granolas. Recipe below!

Bottom layer:
1 cup Choco-Nuts Paleo Passion Granola
1/2 cup softened dates (soak 1/2 cup dates in hot water)

Middle layer
1 cup coconut flakes
1 egg white

Top layer:
dark chocolate (I used 74% dark chocolate), melted.

Do this:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Soak dates in hot water. Set aside.
Mix coconut flakes with egg white. Mold into 4 in x 4 in square. Bake until golden brown on top, about 10 minutes.
Take pits out of dates, and place in food processor with 1 cup Choco-Nuts Paleo Passion Granola
Mold sticky date/granola mixture into 4 in x 4 in square.
Place baked coconut layer on top of sticky date layer.
Cover whole thing in melted chocolate.
Place in freezer for at least 1 hour, or until chocolate on top is frozen.

I used this granola because it’s low in sugar, and compliments the other high sugar ingredients of the bars. Plus, it makes this entire sweet treat grain free! Check out this incredible ingredient list: Walnut, Shredded Coconut, Dark Chocolate (Cacao powder, Cocoa Butter, Wildflower Honey), Wildflower Honey, Almond, Pecan, Maple Syrup, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Coconut Oil, Golden Flaxseed, Cinnamon. All natural, no refined sugar, no preservatives, no artificial sweeteners, grainless/gluten-free, and high in Omega-3’s.

To order some Paleo Passion Foods granola of your own, use the code LEMONS15 for 15% off and free shipping (ice pops don’t include free shipping, as they’re a hassle to ship with the dry ice). Yum, love, fun, happy, good times.

I’ve been surfing on-line greater than three hours these days, but I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view,
if all site owners and bloggers made just right content material as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I feel that you can do with some percent to drive the message house a little bit, but instead of that, that is great blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

obviously like your web-site but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very troublesome to inform the reality however I will certainly come back again.
